This place is so nostalgic for me – I have fond memories of coming here as a kid getting a 6oz. Sirloin and who could forget the All-You-Can-Eat Grand Buffet. It was literally called the GRAND BUFFET. Fast forward to me in high school, the homies and I would ironically/unironically come here to “Ponder at Ponder”; a term we used that accurately described us savagely devouring a bottomless plate as we discussed all the important matters of the world (ie. “Have you B18 swapped that DC front end onto your EG yet?”). Fun fact, I loved this place so much that I even worked here. Yes, in 1999 for the better part of a year I proudly adorned that pine green apron behind the line as I flipped various cuts of steak to each and every customers' preferred temperature. This jersey is not only a salute to this once great steakhouse but a reminder to always keep pondering.
